| Early Years |
| Started playing at age of 9 with Wincanton Silver Band, taught by my Grandad, Bert Howell and Bob and John Gilham. Learnt to play on cornet moved on to Horn, Baritone , Euphonium then progressed to Eb/Bb Bass. |

| Previous Bands |
| Spent most of my playing career with Wincanton Band competing at several National Finals. Have also played with Sherborne Town Band. I have done European tours with Gillingham Imperial band and mere manor Youth band. Also two trips to Germany with Wincanton Band and also one to France. |

| Favourite Music |
| My favourite Music includes Narnia Suite, Resurgam, Land of the Long White Cloud. I enjoy listening to Music of the Spheres by Philip Sparkes after hearing Woodfalls perform this at the Scottish Open. |

| Other Stuff… |
| I am a huge fan of Yeovil Town FC, like most other sports. Vice captain of local pub skittles team. Active member of Wincanton = Lahnau Twinning Association taking part in regular visits to Germany. I enjoy travelling both home and abroad and visiting many interesting places doing my job as a coach driver. |
