Favourite Music
I love film music, which incidentally encouraged me to become a musician.  The ‘old’ Bond stuff especially by John Barry, Goldfinger, From Russia with Love, Thunderball and You Only Live Twice.

The music of John Williams, Star Wars, Indian Jones, Jaws, Jerry Goldsmith for his ‘Trekkie’ stuff, and of course the ‘spaghetti’ westerns by Ennio Morricone.

My other musical heroes apart from those mentioned above are,  Mnozil Brass, from Austria, and Bones Apart, an all girl trombone quartet.

However, one of my all time favourites is ‘Music’, by John Miles which the band have played on numerous occasions and also the foot tapping ‘River Dance’.

Other Stuff…

I am an avid film watcher, and have a reasonable collection of DVD’s. However, of late I’ve had to become a member ‘Love Film’, (or whatever it’s called this week), as I’ve been banned from getting any more films.  Also, much to the bands annoyance, I love to arrange music and try out my many arrangements on them.  I have had one success with one piece, however sometimes I don’t think it’s down to my arranging skills.
